

ABOUT ME
Sound Designer and Composer working across theatre, dance, animation, film, and sound editing. She thrives on exploring both the creative and technical aspects of sound design and composition, focusing on innovative methods to enhance theatrical experiences.
Fiona has collaborated with Catherine Young Dance, Rough Magic, Landmark Productions, and Broken crow Theatre. Her work has been featured in the Dublin Fringe Festival, Dublin Theatre Festival, Dublin Dance Festival, and productions at The Abbey Theatre, Cork Midsummer Festival and National tours.
Notable projects include her collaboration with visual artist Aideen Barry on the exhibition "By Slight Ligaments".
Her diverse catalogue also includes sound design for stop-motion animations, composing and designing trailers for dance and theatre, mixing and editing podcasts. Fiona has also mixed and edited dialogue for numerous live theatre productions and broadcasts.
She was selected for the Centre Stage Project 2020/21, run by Theatre Forum with partners in Spain and Sweden.
Fiona has received Arts Council awards and a bursary from SoundGirls, a non-profit supporting women in the sound industry in the USA.
She holds a Master's degree in Experimental Sound from UCC (2020).
She was nominated for the Hearsay Audio Prize 2021.
